The 2nd Annual Canadian Online Travel Conference – Online Revealed, being held this May 28th and 29th in Toronto, announces Alan Young as Vice President and Co-chair.
Toronto, On, March 19, 2007 -- Online Revealed Canada, the premiere Canadian Online Travel Conference, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Young as Vice President. The first , held last May in Ottawa, set the stage for the event to become the annual must attend online travel event - addressing the unique issues of the Canadian travel industry.
Alan comes to Online Revealed Canada with 24 years in the hospitality industry entering the industry working in a management capacity with General Mills Restaurants, The Four Seasons Hotels Group and Weller Hotels, based in Australia.
Alan transitioned his operational experience into the hospitality technology environment moving to the Caribbean to head up the implementation, and business direction for a Micros / Fidelio partner as Business Development Manager.
Alan’s focus during the past years has been to aid hospitality technology start-up companies within the on-line arena, most notably Newtrade Technologies, where he was Vice President of Hotel Systems and Integration.
Most recently Alan held the position of Vice President, Supply Partners with Hotel Booking Solutions Incorporated.
